There is 3 stages to video production and they are:
PRE-PRODUCTION
Taking the idea and concept for the video and constructing a plan. Location scouting (depending upon type of video), budget and setting dates.
PRODUCTION
Film days including any interviews or pieces to camera ensuring we get everything required to make the idea into an outstanding video.
POST PRODUCTION
Usually the longest part of production. Sorting the footage and choosing the best shots and interview pieces for edit where a provisional edit will be put together for consideration and any possible changes. Then to audio mix and final delivery the video via cloud delivery service.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to film?
Depends upon the complexity of what’s required and the type of video. Usually between 2 to 3 days to film and another 2 days edit and mix. It will all depend upon the concept and brief.
Can you quote me without a brief?
No, not really. It’s what gives me an idea of what you need. Don’t worry, I can send you list of questions which will help you to wrap your head around deciding what you require.

commissioned for ‘Freshwater microplastic’s’ research www.freshwatermicroplastics.com in association with GMIT and the EPA (Environmental protection agency). It involved recording leading researchers at various different locations and challenging environments from a ‘live’ talk at the Microplastic’s conference in Lanzarote 2019 to UCD in Dublin and MFRC in Galway. The purpose of the podcast is to highlight new research on this emerging pollutant. The resultant audio was edited and mixed into an easily digestible 34 minute run time.
